Original Handmade
This means original, brand new items, which have never been used, and which have been made with your skills of hands, solely or with your co-creators, excluding items which were designed by you but created by others! Original Handmade means, items which have nothing to do to with mass production or sweatshops. These can be works of art, jewelry, altered readymade objects, ceramics, clothing items, fashion accessories, craft materials and accessories, bridal accessories, and much more. Items must be tangible, non commercial items, subject to Ooaky Terms Of Use.
Second Handmade
Ooaky is a marketplace which does NOT tolerate resellers, which exploit the skills, work and efforts of others. This simply means allowing ONLY Handmade and vintage shop owners to open their own secondhand corner in their shop and sell their USED good old handmade items, purchased from other makers, thereby letting earth loving shoppers to enjoy these items once again and allowing both sellers and buyers alike to make their own contribution to zero waste and a greener planet !
Vintage & Antique
This means first and foremost, items which are older than 20 years, including items which were back then mass produced. These can be your good old 80s mini skirt, or oversized top, or an antique (at least 100 years old) jewelry box which you got from a flea market. This includes collectibles, such as electronics, stamps, coins, paper ephemera, memorabilia, and old nostalgic book and magazines. To avoid any unnecessary processing conversion fees, you can set your own shop currency in which you wish to receive payments for orders from your shop.
