I have been working in Haiti for approximately 35 years, designing and producing hand crafted metal home decor for sales throughout the world. I have a great team of Haitian artists that work with me, in duplicating my designs in to unique, decorative designs for the home. All of the natural metal art is handcrafted from recycled steel drum. The pieces are drawn on the the flattened metal drum and cut and detailed with simple tools.... hammer, chisel, nail, etc. The finished piece is carefully cleaned and given a clear, protective finish. The painted pieces are individually hand painted and finished with a clear varnish. All pieces are suitable for either indoor or outdoor decorating.
