The design process for Jewelry Inspirations jewelry begins with a design in mind. Beads are chosen using gemstones, Swarovski pearls and crystals, freshwater pearls, glass beads, etc. The beads are next organized on a bead board or a thin foam mat, arranging and rearranging them in different patterns. The design, the colors and the materials evolve as I re-imagine and create. All Jewelry Inspirations artisan jewelry is handmade and created using high-quality materials designed to last for years. Each piece is carefully gift-wrapped, packaged, and shipped via USPS within one business day, arriving wrapped in blue/gray tissue paper inside a lovely pillow box. Beautiful enough to present as a gift for that special person or to keep for yourself.

What I found was that making jewelry was very therapeutic and great fun to buy an outfit and then make a piece of jewelry that matched perfectly. Before long, I was making jewelry and then finding outfits that went with the newest creations! My Virginia friends were complimenting me on my jewelry and my husband kept saying I needed to sell my jewelry online. So after eight years of making jewelry for my personal use, I started Jewelry Inspirations in 2010. Since then we've come a long way, Jewelry Inspirations has an online presence on Ooaky, active vendor for craft shows in the Harrisonburg area and grown three designers.
