The maker's stamp on this elegant piece is indistinct from decades of wear, but copyright mark indicates American-made after 1955. Its petal-like labia and clitoris are studded with marcasite , and the vaginal opening is a natural amethyst oval measuring 10mm long and 8mm wide. While the stone has inclusions, it is scratch-free (don't be fooled by reflections), near-transparent, and has rich color. Brooch is in excellent condition.
